Our Foundation
Mr. Adams began his career in 1983 working for Brookes Baker Surveyors in Ft Worth, Texas. He has four decades of experience in the surveying industry working in over 30 states, primarily in land development, high rise, low rise, single-family, multi-family, industrial, commercial, roads and bridges. He also worked many years in the Nuclear/Coal energy sector in Virginia and surrounding states.
On October 1, 2009, Mr. Adams founded Adams Surveying Company, LLC, located in Richardson, Texas. ASC serves a wide range of clientele including public, commercial, industrial, retail, and residential development. He has been a member of the Texas Society of Professional Surveyors since 1984 and is a Past-President of the Dallas Chapter. He currently serves on the TSPS Board of Directors, he is past Chair of the TSPS Standards Committee, a member of the National Society of Professional Surveyors, the Arkansas Society of Professional Surveyors and the American Council of Engineering Companies.
Mr. Adams is passionate in encouraging community involvement and gives back to the profession by being an active member of the advisory committee for North Lake College in Dallas County, course developer and speaker for TSPS, a Proctor for the National Society of Professional Surveyors CST program, and a volunteer with Skills USA, Texas. Before beginning his surveying career, he served in the United States Air Force in the Civil Engineering Squadron as a Fire Protection Specialist in the Tactical Air Command.
